Tyler Myers is a healthy scratch tonight. Weber in for him. Per Buffalo News beat writer Mike Harrington.

I'm wondering if we could see an all-swiss duo on D.

Sucks but he can use a couple of days off, good for Emelin.

Is it bad that I'm actually happy? I want Emelin to get a shot in his place.

We are slowly gaining steam boys.
A Tampa loss to Winnipeg (unlikely) doesn't represent a gain for the Habs. Neither does the outcome between the Bruins and the Devils affect the Habs either way. The Habs have to win their own games to make up for their poor start.

You better hope we don't go down 2 men again tonight. Gill is at his best in that situation.

How many times does that situation actually occur to us? Statistically speaking, the odds are pretty low. Then again, there is a chance...
Definitely won't be missed at even strength though, where the majority of the game is played (if all goes according to plan).

Tim Peel , Brian Pochmara are referees for tonight's #Habs #Sabres game. Reminder: 7 pm start, not 7:30

Yes you are. He's 12th in the NHL in blocked shots and a huge part of the success of our PK.
And yikes, like you said Tim Peel.

Gill's been a beast lately and practically shut down that Preds 5-on-3 on his own. Can't believe people are actually happy he's out tonight.

Don't worry, after a while they will all be like "**** ____, DAMN SUCKS GILL WAS SICK TODAY!"
It always happens.
I do think Gill not playing will be very interesting, some d-men will get extra time and more responsibilities. We can see how they play with that added time. Proper way to judge them, and also judge how important Gill is

A giant for each team missing Should be some extra skating room.
Sabres likely to try to thump their scrawny chests tonight in hope of showing they have at least one nut. Will probably take some dumb penalties.
Good luck tonight.
P.S. My wife used to babysit Hal Gill.

It will be interesting to see Emelin with increased responsibilities. Mind you, I assume he'll play with Diaz and become the 3rd pairing. Or Martin could put him with Weber.
Not happy that Gill is missing the game though.
