A Tampa loss to Winnipeg (unlikely) doesn't represent a gain for the Habs. Neither does the outcome between the Bruins and the Devils affect the Habs either way. The Habs have to win their own games to make up for their poor start.

How many times does that situation actually occur to us? Statistically speaking, the odds are pretty low. Then again, there is a chance...

Definitely won't be missed at even strength though, where the majority of the game is played (if all goes according to plan).

It always happens.

I do think Gill not playing will be very interesting, some d-men will get extra time and more responsibilities. We can see how they play with that added time. Proper way to judge them, and also judge how important Gill is

It will be interesting to see Emelin with increased responsibilities. Mind you, I assume he'll play with Diaz and become the 3rd pairing. Or Martin could put him with Weber.

Not happy that Gill is missing the game though.
