To Anaheim:
Mikhail Grabovski
Nikolai Kulemin
Clarke MacArthur
Cody Franson
Conditional 1st round pick if Grabo doesn't re-sign ..... if he does it turns into a 2nd
Anaheim gets a whole 2nd line (and a pretty good one) and a cheap OFD to replace Visnovsky (obviously not to the same calibre) and the icing on the cake is the pick
Toronto gets a legit 1st liner, who is also a powerforward, and a young 3rd liner who could bring energy to our team
This deal would have to happen in the offseason because the Ducks can't afford so much salary coming their way. In fact, I'm not sure if we even would have enough money for them. Not a bad deal IMO.
That's a stupid deal. Why would Toronto give up their whole line and a conditional first for one first liner? We'd have to play inexperienced guys on the second line and playoffs would not be possible.

Quality vs quantity. Think it's a pretty safe bet Ryan turns into a PPG player.

I love Bobby Ryan but this makes us a worse team.
We need to get more elite talent like Ryan, but to give up our ENTIRE second line would just deplete us...
I proposed a similar trade on the Anaheim board that makes more sense for both teams I think.
To ANA
Mikhail Grabovski
Nikolai Kulemin
Keith Aulie
To TOR
Bobby Ryan
3rd Round Pick
Perhaps a pick/prospect needs to be added but the base of a deal.
I think it works for both sides, Leafs add a good young 1st line PP player.
Ducks add 2 young players who can help with their secondary scoring and a young shut down D that should be NHL ready by next season and could even play this season.

I don't think it would be enough to deal a kid like Ryan away. Keep in mind that Grabovski is a pending UFA who will be making somewhere around $5 mil/per and Kulemin will get another raise as well.

lol if we made that trade all we'll have on the second line is lupul(ryan would take his spot) then we have no one to play on the second line. We'd have to put kadri/colborne/frattin there. All three of those guys have very little experience and to put 2 of them on the second line is crazy. If it was just 1 of them then that would be okay but we don't need an 2/3rds of a second line trying to learn how to play in the nhl. Oh and that's also assuming connolly is not injured and is playing on the first line. He probably would be injured and we'd have bozak on the first line, a **** second line, no third line as everyone who should be there has moved up.
I'm sure franson would get better opportunities in anaheim, and Smith-Pelley could be a fan favorite and a great energy player.
anaheim is not moving DSP hes finally starting to adjust to the NHL game and gets better every night. ANA problem is RPG is playing like crap not necessarily secondary scoring

Not a Ducks fan but I don't think they'd like that offer. Smith-Pelly is overachieving by making the team this early while Franson's value has gone down (plus they already have Fowler). The Ducks need forward depth, Smith-Pelly is exactly the type of player they shouldn't be trading.

As the others have covered, not of any interest to the Ducks. DSP is exactly the type of player we lack, while we have a couple of great puckmoving prospects in Vatanen and Schultz. Never understood the hype around Franson. He might be an upgrade over Foster right now, but it would not be huge and Visnovsky won't be out forever.
Wow. Leafs instantly become a lottery team after that. The give up their entire second line with great chemistry, and a first for a potential star to play with Kessel. They would never do that.
As for DSP for Franson, no reason Ducks need to do that at all.
