Flyers: Rick Nash Proposal?

LOL @ Couturier....obviously this guy is just throwing wet socks at a locker and hoping some stick. Nonetheless, it would be intriguing to get Nash and ironic considering Carter was supposed to help that abortion of a situation there..however I would rather get some D men and it seems more likely that is what we'll do. Nash to Boston though could happen for Rask etc...

Quote:
What could Nash retrieve? Would he fetch three nice pieces? The Philadelphia Flyers are always in the hunt. They could throw together a package that could include any three of Sean Couturier, Brayden Schenn, James VanRiemsdyk, Braydon Coburn, Andrej Meszaros, goalie Sergei Bobrovsky and a first-round draft pick. Could the Kings put a similar group of names together. Say, pick three of Jack Johnson or Dustin Brown, Jonathan Bernier, 2010 first-round defender Derek Forbot, Slova Voynov and recently graduated junior forward Tyler Toffoli). Or is even the mention of Johnson or Brown folly?

The Kings would want to move Dustin Penner, but he’s an unrestricted free agent and the Blue Jackets don’t want him.

Agree...nice to have but we need D men. If Boston got him though that would suck...

Wait.. The LA deal and our deal are totally different.

Their could be giving up guys like Toffoli, Voynov and Forbot, but we are giving up Schenn, Couturier, and JVR? Ya...

But anyway, I dont want Nash.

I'm also more interested in defensemen. We have enough young forwards who should only get better.

Hell yes. Flyers have what it takes to get Nash. If Columbus will accept underachievers like Hartnell and Coburn.. Obsoletely! Get Nash!

Coburn/Mez/Carle, Hartnell, Bobrovsky for Nash and Nikita Nikitin.

Wow. I think I need more sleep.

The Columbus Canes or Carolina Jackets must have been rattling around up in the brain.

haaaaaaaaa... We? Defeted? lol Hey pal, you are in no position to tell/ask or suggest people to stay away.

Flyers would be lucky to get Nash for Hartnell with Coburn. One idiot can not skate another another moron scores once every 40-50 games.. You kidding me?

Coming from the guy who cant put a coherent sentence together

And seriously, at this point in time, I wouldn't trade Hartnell and Coburn for Nash

His proposal sounds alot like Nitro's in the trade board..
Also classified Hartnell, Coburn, and Meszaros as unofficial cap dumps

why would you trade the most penalized pylon in the NHL and a soon to be 4.5M a year d-men that can't score or play D without Kimmo for Rick Nash. heh..

Hartnell 4.2 Mez 4M/Coburn 3.2 Bobrovsky 1.75 gives Flyers anywhere between 9.15M and 10M

Leighton 750K, warm body coming back from Columbus like 600K Nikitin and 7.8M Nash. Shelley to the AHL where he belongs. Count. Can be done. No question about it.
