Care less about power rankings, more about position in the standings.

It's a long season, but a good start is not a bad thing. The wins now are worth just as much as they are in March. We just have to play more consistently.

Didn't you see? Eklund broke the Couburn extension. He's totally legit now!
does this need a disclaimer?

Tonight we **** the bed and missed a golden opportunity to take the NW lead from Eddy and also move to 2nd overall in the conference, and we wind up dropping a rank, falling to 5th.

Scandy with a concussion now as well. Hope this doesn't mean the wheels start coming off.

'Minnesota Concussions' would make a great name for a franchise. I hope scandella comes out alright, he's been great so far.

Before we plan the parade, let's not forget how bad our competition is...

To count all of my chickens before they hatch, our next 6 games are against #s 15, 12, 10, 7, 8, and 13 on that list. Then we play Tampa (Lemaire vs Boucher!) and then #8 (Edmonton) again. We have Jersey then #14 to start December as well. If we come out of the next 10 game stretch with fewer than 15 points, I will be sorely disappointed.

Jarick...
Can you do a column for "Projected Points"?
Basically, games remaining X PPG average?

I wonder how the projection compares to last season. 95 points has been stated to be the threshold you need to hit to make the playoffs in the West, but that's a big drop off from 8th to 10th.
