To me this is really a must win. We can't continue to suck at home.

Why does Weber lose his cool like that sometimes, and do stupid stuff? Don't understand it.

I don't know, but that's another way he reminds me of Scott Stevens. He was like that in his early Capitals days, but he cooled off a few years later. It's pretty eerie if you think about it, hard shooting, hard hitting, big crazy defender who was drafted under Poile. I hope history doesn't repeat this time though.

Kind of curious why they call a trip on Suter, but nothing on Ovechkin for his blatant trip on Weber in the neutral zone...

Stupid NHL officiating

How was that not a charging penalty against 25 Jerred Smithson at 10:12 of the 2nd? Definitely 5 strides and then a tiny glide.

How was it not a trip against Ovechkin or holding/hooking/molesting against Knuble in the 1st? A leg out to trip Weber and literally grabbing and throwing Bergfors to the ice.

Yeah I only saw that after the replay. Actually Weber was carrying the puck and Ov was lining him up for a big mid ice hit and veered off at the last minute. Weber got OV back in the corner with a big hit.

How about the interference against Hendricks at 7:14 that sent him flying in the air.

I guess both teams are doing it.

Been really impressed by both goalies tonight. They have looked great. It is hard for me to cheer against vokoun, even though I like Rinne better. I would be fine with an OT, SO win in order to give washington a point.

That was a perfect shot, not much Rinne can do there.
