Can you get the offense over 3 goals per game? Send your résumé to Dean.

I am shocked that he went with those pairings. It's the most logical, thing to do and I'm happy to see if it works.

You probably don't realize I was being facetious, so I'll leave you alone with your thoughts.

I know you're the biggest Holloway homer here, but the Kings aren't required to give him a "decent offer." He has done jack **** in his career. The Kings have no incentive whatsoever to pander to the monetary demands of what amounts to a career AHLer to this point. It's his own fault if he wanted to chase money instead of a chance to play in the NHL.

The Kings weren't willing to guarantee him a spot on the NHL roster which is the only way Holloway could have made the kind of money he is making in Europe.

That is exactly right so how can you blame him for that.

I don't blame him. However, it would be incorrect to say that the Kings didn't make him an offer that would have paid him a substantial sum of money if he was playing in the NHL. He just didn't want to sign another two-way contract and took the sure thing instead.

When/if he comes back he will have some catching up to do.

Your right on but if you look at it from the players side it is just a maybe compared to a salary that is guaranteed and is just as big as a entry level NHL contract. We all know maybes dont pay the bills.
