You can't stop the Preds offense. You can only hope to contain it.

I will admit that I went to my girl's apartment after I hit the gym, so I wasn't able to actually watch the game as intently as I usually do. Those last five minutes, though; she wasn't going to get my attention for much of anything (much of anything). I did record it so tomorrow after I meet with my adviser and then write this essay I plan on re-watching for specifics, but I will say that there was some excellent goaltending on both sides. The officiating was suspect at times. That's not unusual. I was kind of pissed after Washington scored because I figured it was over, but then Weber comes back with a beautiful cross for Erat to tie it. And then Fish with that insanely great play to Wilson crashing the net to take the lead. And then a Weber blast into the empty net. Erin was lying with her head on my lap not paying any attention when I cheered the EN and she asked, "They scored again already??"... yes... yes they did.

Great game. can't wait to actually watch it

So Rinne is pretty ******* good, huh. I'm pretty happy he plays in the West, and I have no desire to see you guys join the SE.

Just for the record Weber's goal was one of the most epic empty-netters I've seen in quite some time.

that weber goal was nothing more than a case of a man saying nuh-uh, we aint goin down like that and putting the team on his back and willing a goal. that individual effort is the stuff captains are made of right there.

Agreed. It was definitely nice to see. With each game played, I've been seeing more and more of the emotion we've come to expect from Weber.

It's Kiraly's to pass on, but I say if one isn't up by tomorrow at lunch we need a new GDT starter just to test the juju

Best game of the year for Erat, by a wide margin.

Is it just me or does it seem like we're a lot better at keeping possession in our offensive zone lately? ....lately meaning since we've turned things around this year.....

I remember in the LA (or Anaheim) game last week we kept the puck for the entire 2 minute power play. It seems like we're preventing clearing attempts, cycling better, quick to the loose puck, etc.

Even if it was a 0-0 tie, that was one exciting game where the score doesn't tell the whole story. Very enjoyable to watch. Rinne, wow.

More pressure and aggressive puck pursuit this year. Could be because of how young this team is compared to previous years. Team speed.

Great game!!

So happy Wilson got the GWG. He's been playing well and working so hard this year and even though the points aren't quite there (only 3 goals in 16 games before this game), his hard work is showing up all over the place.

Well deserved W for Rinne!
