like most here ... I thought justin tv was great last year ... even watched a game from nepal ... there were monks sitting next to me wondering what kind of evil game I was watching ...
kathmandu is a broken city, filled with pollution, poverty and people have trouble eating decent food ... but for some reason everyone has cheap internet access, and cell phones ... anyways... (1 cent per minute for inet)
try adthe.net ...it links up to justin 90% of times ... and you will be surprised to see what you can watch there... UFC , boxing ... English premier league ... anything ...
Is there a way (software?) to merge two feeds (ie. english audio and a french video) and align the two so that they are in sync and only output the desired compenent from each?

here in Chile JustinTV doesnt work ; Your country has exceeded its viewer limit message...
IM like WTF were are the ****ing other Chilean Habs fan ****ing up my stream.... where!
Maybe most of you know those sites but for the ones that don't....could be helpful
first one seems to be a lot of archives from radio canada
But Hulu is mostly US feeds, if you don't live in the states you ll need to make them think you live there, I use ProXPN , fast free and easy to use....its cool for the classic games, some form the 50s 60s etc, and the most recent ones on 480p...(changes from the crappy quality of the cbc games) so hope it helps
Thats a great idea.
In Europe, i cant watch the games on Justin.tv (they've restricted the access for NA users only), and given the fact that i cant watch the games on a very regular basis because its quite late here, i dont want to suscribe for anything, since i will be only using it for half the time, and im stingy.
With my "experience", Sopcast/VLC offers usually the best compromise between stability and quality of the image, but the streams, for the Habs, are not that common. You are often using other channels' streams, such as NESN (and exposing your ears to the Great Jack Edwards), MSG or the Comcasts.
I dont see RDS or TSN that often. CBC is available, sometimes, though.
Anyway, forum.wiziwig.eu seems to be the new name of myp2p.eu for the ones interested. Now, its only pre-season games, so its hard to find streams, but after a week, we should be able to see where to find a good one.
anyone running on a mac? i think i might go back to hockey streams, which i did for the playoffs. it was pretty good for the most part. granted it costs $$.
I have RDS now on my digital cable in Ontario(with Cogeco). Does anyone else in Ontario know whether our not it will be blacked out during Habs games or not? If not I might be able to watch every game on TV this year.
Probably only if they're playing the leafs or sens and the game is on TSN..
just get RDS. it's cheap, and you get every game. And on top of that cbc will be delivering 28 habs games, which is the most for a team on CBC (toronto)

This thread is for people who live in other countries or do not own a TV/Cable.
If you're willing to pay 100$ for the season, this site http://www.hockeystreams.com/ streams all the games you want with great quality.
If they had AHL streams, I'd definitely sign back up. Here's a tip if anyone is interested, last time I was with hockeystreams.com, you could login at multiple locations. meaning multiple people could share an account. I'm not sure if you still can, but just putting it out there.
