Would be pretty disappointing if they don't put Rundblad in. Just send him back to Sweden at this point if you're not going to use him.

Is he not AHL eligible? Would get him some solid minutes and they need the help.

Yeah he is, but with all the problems going on down there I don't think it would necessarily be a good environment for him to go to (especially since I don't think his confidence would be high getting cut from the 'big' team.)

Bingo is hurting due to the huge turn over of high end talent. Rundblad might not turn the team around completely, but he's a huge infusion of talent that would make them better. Certainly would improve the environment. When Regin gets back I wouldn't mind Da Costa developing in Bingo as well.

Seriously, can we just have one GDT and forget about all these pre and post gameday threads?

Seriously.

Seriously? Seriously? Are you being serious? For real?

Seriously, I can't believe how serious this is. This post just caught a disease, and the only cure is more serious.

In contrast, Nick Foligno has 7 points in his last 7 games through November (7-4-3-7). But he just turned 24yo and is a 3rd liner; I've been told that we should trade him away the first time somebody asks for him.
I think they've got 1 goal on the road so far this year.

Just an excuse for you kids to create more threads really.

Agree with you there. A losing streak in Binghamton doesn't mean that we should give up on them for the year. Especially since it's only November.

I only made a pre-game thread because I didn't have my GDT done and people didn't want me to post it incompletely. I could've forgone a pre-game thread I guess.

GDT going up now

The plan all along was to not play Rundblad the entire year due to him not being used to the NHL grind and schedule, and we have the D depth to ease him in. Sending him to Sweden would be absolutely pointless, he's probably going to get like 50 GP.

I have to say, the methodical Detroit approach of playing rookies definitely pisses off the HFboards rookie whack off crew.

Kills the discussion imo. When there are only 500 posts in the GDT, it's not that hard to find your way through it.
