Gettyimages.com is pure gold! Have to live with the watermarks, though.

The oldest pic I could find is this one from 1925:

Love the cap

EDIT: Crap, seems like gettyimages.com doesn't allow linking to their pics. It says you have to log in :S

Don't make fun of me for answering a question that wasn't meant to be answered

EDIT: Hah, I missed the part where he mentioned he got the pics from an Orr site. All that yellow and black made me scroll quickly.

IMO Bobby Orr was the best. I know people are going to be Gretzky, Lemieux--maybe even Ovechkin. But to me it's Orr. Both Ray Bourque and Brian Leetch modeled their games after Orr's--and he's always been a classy guy to boot.

Those pictures are amazing. I know this thread is for Ranger pictures, but can anyone get some old Gordie Howe pictures (preferably with Detroit only)?

Park was a great defenseman. Loved his submarine hip checks--his victims doing somersaults in the air. A very canny player with a great shot and a great playmaker--good in his own end and he could fight. Even so--Orr was a generational player--maybe not as tough as Park but putting up multiple 100 point seasons on a pair of bum knees--he was a remarkable player. He changed the way the game was played.
