Mikael's jersey just says 'Granlund'.

I think M. Granlund will be the better player IMO. M. Granlund just doesn't have as much talent.

Hilarious thing is that Blues scored right after that as you can see in the video.

Yep, and that was the GWG. Blues won 2-1.

Another interesting thing is that was same arena where Rob Hisey and Jani Lajunen scored lacrosse goals earlier.

That golden helmet also got my attention. Anyone know the reason for it?

In Sm-league, topscorer of the team always carries golden helmet.
I remember when Red Hot Chili Peppers were watching a game in Finland, they thought it was pure madness, like an invitation to "kill me with your hit"

Nice goal.. brothers jeez.

The leading scorer of the team wears a golden helmet in SM-Liiga.

You're right. He's not on the roster. But since he was in Calgary's prospect camp, I'd imagine he's either slightly injured, taking care of some of his military obligations, or merely back with HIFK since they have a new coach and the season's generally start a bit earlier in Finland. Sorry for not having more information right now but I'll let you know what I find out.

I can't see him being cut, it could very well be due to a prospect camp, of Military service, I believe he will or is following Mikael's footsteps by completing it immeadiately.

Cannot see him not being on the roster, He is pretty much Finland's top prospect eligible this year. He will most likely even captain the team.

Injury, or training with HIFK or something like that.

99% sure it's not military related.

That looks equally bad. Markus shouldn't have played left wing on the firs line last year either, 2nd line center would have been better. This year, that line needs a scorer not a passer. Those 3 in the same line won't work.
