Get rid of the 'sticky' Miller thread

What a pointlessly negative and cynical thing.

Miller's been a rock. Perhaps our MVP so far.

He's healthy and strong. Any King can be injured anytime.

How about Sticky: Miller's a Stud

Who's with me?

No. Keep it.

Can't you see that the thread is the mojo keeping him on the ice? As soon as you remove it, he'll go down with a season-ending injury.

It was cute at the time, but I agree that it's silly to have it as a sticky. I wouldn't have voted in it if I had known it would be staring us in the face all season. I guess if the majority likes it there, though...

Actually, Miller's contract runs through the end of the '06-'07 season. He signed a 4 year extension in March '03 which kicked in the following season (he would have been UFA in July '03).

Now, Mattias Norstrom WILL be a UFA after this season... as his 4 year extension (signed 9/02) will expire in July.

Excellent! Good research, Fin. The majority opinion was that his contract was up after this season, so many of us just accepted that to be true. It's great to hear that he's secured past this season. Are we sure that 4th year isn't an option for either side, though?

Don't look at me; you probably know as much as I do . I can think of Norstrom, Roenick, Robitaille and Bure as the more prominent UFAs after this season. As for restricted free agents, I have no clue

EDIT: Corvo is also a UFA after this season!

I've done a little bit of research, myself, now:

UFAs after this season:
Norstrom
Roenick
Robitaille
Bure
Corvo
...and possibly Armstrong (if "multi-year" means 2 years)

RFAs after this season:
Gleason
Brown
Cammalleri
Garon
Avery
Belanger
Weaver
Flinn
Hauser

There are likely more players, especially RFAs. Feel free to add or correct any of that.
