I expect a pretty hard fought game. Winnipeg gave us fits last year. Of course that was last year in another city.

I saw two of those three away games live and they lost both. I think it was 3-2 on opening night where the goalie had the random collapse and 1-0 in January. Still even in defeat few things are more fun then seeing a hockey game live.
Then of course there was this at Verizon Center

I love it when Erskine tries to see if they should end the fight as a draw and Boulton then tries to fake him out resulting in Erskine just pushing him into the glass.

How is the ice in Winnipeg? Better than Atlanta I'm guessing. For as good as the Caps can skate, they don't seem to do that well on good ice (Vancouver, Edmonton, Minnesota, Detroit).

From what I hear, it isn't great. We got new refrigeration machines and all, but MTS Centre has so many events it affects the ice.

no respect to the peg (rooting for them in an underdog/great fans way) but caps should win this game and look like a cup quality team doing it. but i suspect thats not happening. neuvy in net. road game. no green. 4-1 would be nice, with the $17M russians doing something to remotely justify their salary on the ice, but i wouldnt bet on the caps right now with any confidence whatsoever.
