I agree that having him in the line up for a prolonged time is unwishful. That being said, if he plays like he dud yesterday, I have no issues with it.

Admittedly, I've never been a big fan of his game. I just don't see *it* from him.

I'd rather have Gill.

Check who can leave town next year ,and this is the d core you have next year.

Also , the Habs d isn't really " inexperienced" as much as some think. We're talking Diaz is 25 yrs old not 19

Diaz played 8 full season with EV Zug-Swiss,and 8 yrs with them in playoffs. Also played in Olympics. His former team just beat the Ny Rangers in October 2011 this year score 8-4.So not like he was playing in a beer leauge .

Same with Emelin he is 25 years old not 19, had 4 full season with Ak Bars Kazan in KHL,better than AHL.Went to playoffs with them 4 years in a row .Played in World Championships.
The Habs just need to let this guy play .

Weber is 23 and been in and out with Habs for 4 years now ,played in Olympics. Finally coming into his own .

Frédéric St-Denis 25 years old not 19, did some time in Echl and Hammertown .

Josh is Josh, solid

PK has always be a step ahead .
When I say inexperienced, I'm talking about nhl level experience. Sure, being a bit older is great when it comes to physical and mental maturity, but zero nhl games is still zero nhl games, and you just cant replace that experience whether you play in the ahl or on large ice abroad.

Mind blowing really...only silver lining is that all of these players should be back in the lineup before the end of the year. If the Habs can manage to tread water like they hav been until then, these players should provide a big boost in the coming weeks.

Hospitalized for 3 days for an infection caused by a cut? That's brutal.

Probably a treatment of antibiotics by intravenous.

Another update.

MAGodin Marc Antoine Godin
According to Jacques Martin, Andrei Markov shouldn't be back before the trip in California.

Looking at the Habs schedule...my guess is Markov will return Tuesday, December 13 vs. the Isles.

If all goes well, he should make the trip with the team, and play at the end of the trip which I think is the first week of December.

We just have to see if he starts having contact practices next week.

Anyway the trip is only a week away and a half away.

so my prediction, he's back between Dec 3/6.

I'm more concerned with the return of the other d-men. I don't want markov coming back and having to carry a heavier load than he should off the bat because the other guys are still hurting.

To me that comment means he could be back for the California trip. Maybe, maybe not. That Islanders game is almost a month away.

Actually what sucks for Markov is the fact that we'll have very little practice time next week.

That's true. I think most (if not all) are just very anxious to see Markov return.

Regardless if we have a healthy line up or not, I'm hoping JM doesnt give Markov 20-25 minutes of ice-time right off the bat.
