So is Markus Pettersson considered a D now? Was a stand-out as a center in TV-pucken and heard some romours about the club wanting more D-man and tried him there, but didn't really think it would stick.

Looking good.

Keep an eye on Flood, Aho, Mäkitalo, Nylander, Kovacs and Timashov among others. Looks like a very deep squad to me.

Some of those kids are really big for their age, an average of maybe 6 feet for 14-14\5 year olds is quite something, especially since likely with Swedish genes they will grow alot more in next few years and maybe into their 20's.

Yup average is 6 feet and around 165lbs, and that's including a player who's as small as 5'2 120. Myself I grew like four inches between 15 and 17, these guys could become huge(although I reallize it's individual).

I've heard rumors that he thought he had a bigger shot of making the international squad as a D. Nothing I can confirm at all though, just loose chatter. Either way, the hockey sense he own is more than enough to play d, but maybe not the physique. But who knows

right, he has the frame thou just need to bulk up these coming years. Seems odd to my anyway when you don't see too many large skilled centers nowadays.. Only one who comes to mind is Johan Ryno and he's not even playing in SEL. but I guess he could turn out even better as a D, who knows?

Kylington is 97 born, and unlike the only 97 born skater in the camp not an early born 97.

That should explain it.
