I really hope the Sabres win in a low scoring affair. Cam Ward is killing me in fantasy this year!

I'm thinking a win by 2.

Edit: I HATE losing to the Canes, so I guess it is a must win if the team has any consideration for my feelings.=p

I hope they blow Ward apart and have him tossed in the first period.

It's definitely not a must win, but a victory would sure help calm things down and bolster the team's somewhat fragile psyche right now.

Let's Buffalo Go!!

I always see it and think "here comes a trolling flyers fan" then read the post and realise it isn't.

Beating the Canes is always nice though.

What's the over/under on times the Hurricanes run Enroth?

Seems to be in vogue, running a Sabres goalie that is.

He and Skinner can battle it out in a featherweight cage match. They're about the same size....

Nothing would make me happier than seeing that baby-faced, diving DB go through the "Tunnel of Death" tonight.

I give the edge to Enroth. Skinner tends to have issues staying on his skates.

Headed to the game as soon as I get out of a meeting on prostate cancer for my works insurance provider. I've never been so antsy to hear about my prostate!

Sabres-2 Canes-3

Staal (2), Ruutu (1)

Gerbe(1), Leino (1)

Every Canes game I have ever been to, regardless of if it's against Buffalo or another opponent, has resulted in a Canes victory. It's something absurd like 12-0 now. I'm cursed.

I don't know about "must win", but it's definitely a "must not give up a 4-on-1 against" game.

If I see another one of those I might have to make like a Philly-native and start chucking batteries at Mr Flipflops. Or like Afino/BZK with a pint glass.

hopefully our PP defence decides Shg just aren't cool this time.

I second the notion of Skinner meeting the Tunnel of death. Dislike him with a passion.

According to the team rosters:

Enroth - 5'10" 166 lbs. That's second lightest on the team (to Ennis)

Skinner - 5'11" 193 lbs.

I think there's more of a size difference than one would think, but Skinner can't stay on his skates long enough to fight anybody anyway.

But anyway, let's go Buffalo!

There's no way Skinner is 5'11".

I don't know, Skinner really isn't that small. From what I've heard he's got a really solid build too, too bad he doesn't use all that to his advantage on the ice. Too many years of figure skating I guess.

I have a pretty bad feeling about this one. And to those who are saying this is a must win, not even 20 games into the season.

Eh, I found Carolina winters achingly chilly -- that combo of damp and cold that just makes every sports injury since conception ache.

That said, today's been a pretty great November day up here.
