Ever since the 5 goal game, I hate playing in Montreal. Like a real Ranger fan, expect the worst and pray for the best
It's just an arena. If the situation repeated itself where the Rangers took a 5-0 lead, I'd much rather be the Rangers than the Canadiens. Constantly expecting the worst says a lot about the history of the team in general.
AND because the Canadiens are unusually poor against backups of French Canadian heritage. I actually like this decision. A lot.
Also, there is a three games in four night stint coming up starting on Wednesday, with this move you can assume that Hank will be starting all three. This way Marty gets a chance to play in front of his family and friends, possibly.
And he's usually our best player on the ice, in Montreal. What does that say about how we usually perform there... how quickly people forget games such as when Hank allowed 6 goals, but was still a star of the game, because Montreal could probably have scored 18 on us that night and he was actually playing amazing. Somehow, it seems it's usually Hank's fault if we lose, because he didn't stand on his head when the team stopped playing hockey. There is no "I" in team.
Considering how solid Biron has been, it's logical to play him to let him keep his steam up. But, considering the extremely light schedule, it's not wise resting Hank either. He usually doesn't favour such a long rest between games. It feels like a lose-lose situation, both Hank and Biron need games. The guy responsible for this playing schedule should be shot.

Then let's save him the trouble of a hard loss.
Biron usually either steals games or blows it. If he blows it, well, at least its in a game we likely would have lost anyways.
Only problem with Marty is that he'll actually understand whats being shouted at him.
Was expecting him to go with Biron, good move. Hank should come out on fire Tuesday night after being off for a week.
I'm expecting a big game out of Avery in Quebec
Hopefully the GAS line gets back on the scoresheet and the Rangers can find a way to grab their 8th straight. I'd like them to keep the pace they're at with the Flyers and Penguins, being relatively close with a handful of games in hand.
