generally speaking, I try to be an idiot. it's the only way I can deal with people here. except gorges, I actually think he should be captain of this team when gionta is done. Him or Pacioretty, I think they're both captain material.

Maybe we can trick Gomez into going back into the building after the game, and drive off and ditch his ass back in NYC??? YES! Do it!!!

Well, like is a strong word, but I certainly don't think he's nearly as bad as he's made out to be especially lately (which strangely coincides with a segment on TSN about him the other night).

I still think he's not hurting the team and that he can and will become useful. He needs to find his groove back. One thing I do know, booing him, calling him out in the media and bombarding him with questions about it isn't going to help.

He's not questioning the team, blaming others for his lack of production and seems to still be liked by the other players. As long as that's the case I don't see the huge rush to get him out of here. Especially by burying him in the minors. If we get a decent return for him that's another story though.

I wish Gorges and Subban could play the entire 60 minutes. That's an ugly defensive lineup

Good to see Emelin and Diaz split.

St-Denis is going to carry Emelin tonight.

Nah, in all seriousness, I hope Emelin bounces back tonight. His game versus Carolina was awesome. Need something like that.

Markov, after nearly two years of injuries, on his wrong side when he returns?

I'd rather;

Gorges - Subban
Markov - Campoli
Spacek OR Gill - Weber

Won't work. can't work.

Both are playing on the left side and CAN only be effective on that side.

Another subtle joke I noticed in the GDT (to go along with Got Max? and Dr Recchi M.D.)

Rangers 0-5 to 6-5 - Nope

Habs 0-5 to 6-5 - Yep

lol

You know I'm looking at that lineup and really it's not very good. I'm trying to think, gee who are we missing .........kostitsyn?....Where has our team gone. And who's coming............nobody really great. I suddenly feel very worried about this team. I mean we can't score and there's nothing coming. Not so long ago things looked good, lots of prospects, lots of depth. Where's it all gone.......
