Nodl watching Shelley and Rinaldo play worked out so well last time the Flyers played the Jets...

Is Nodl hurting worse then it's led on or is he falling out of favor with Lavy and company?

Honestly, i really wished the flyers would just trade Nodl to someone who could use him.. If you give him a chance, he is a good 3/4 line player who could possibly fill in on the 2nd line for a short while when an injury happens

There would be no reason for that to happen given how he even made the team and earned a one-way contract to start with.

Nodl kills penalties and doesn't take them. And he can put the puck in the net given enough chances, he just needs a lot of chances. There isn't really a scenario where he should be a healthy scratch.

That was my thinking, but I'm not understanding why Shelley is coming into the game and not Nodl. It's just weird.

At least they are keeping the Read-Talbot-Voracek line

I think that's the right thing to do, keeping Read with Talbot and Voracek.

Clearly if he puts up 40 points he should win the Calder based on who he is playing with.

I think he's best suited with JVR and Briere, both which picked up their game when playing with him and that line needs a good two way player badly. I like the idea of keeping Read- Talbot-Voracek line intact as well.
