That is the stupidest ****ing argument I've ever heard. I'm not a ****ing NHL goaltender. The Stars were in the game, now they're not. You can't give up that kind of juicy rebound on a not-so-threatening shot in that situation. The team isn't pathetic tonight at all, I think they've played a pretty good road game overall.

A shot off the shoulder is not easy to control. If Morrow wasn't playing like a **** we would have not been on that kill and none of that would have happened.

7 periods without a goal. Can we really lose 5 in a row?

if we're being honest with ourselves they weren't that good with him either.

Goose is great, don't get me wrong. He was right up there with Benn and Eriksson when he was around in terms of skaters carrying the team, but there's some serious problems with the rest of this team.

I'd say start with ditching Morrow, Robidas, and Grossman if you can.

Now we're in the bad situation of really needing a win with our choices being Raycroft or starting the process of tiring out Kari.

Goligoski wasn't playing all that great. Blaming the losing streak on his absence is superficial and facile. Certainly doesn't help that the coaching staff refuses to play someone who could partially fill his skates.

Robidas is seriously terrible and I'm sick of him. He's fine when defending on the rush, but as soon as the opposition gets settled in our zone he starts running around like a chicken with it's head cut-off

who was that bloody cnut who dived that last PP for COL?? really wanna know his name.

Ribs was decent going forward, the rest weren't. Kari kept us in this, tomorrow hopefully Razor will get a chance to unite this team again. My fav Tom Wandell isn't a NHL-level player right now. Hate to have to admit that but his time is running out in our team, if he doesn't up his game. Oh yes and Larsen please to up the tempo when attacking the Sharks tomorrow.. tune in and GO TO THE BLOODY GAME IF POSSIBLE!!

BTW Good riddance Hicks, you scouse coward... Welcome Gaglardi, hopefully he is here for the long term..

Fabulous showing by our boys out there. Too bad our fans weren't there to cheer them off the ice.

Was out tonight and missed the game, watching the reply now. But when I read this thread and the boxscore I wasn't surprised. A lifeless shellacking in Denver where we show up flat and can't score? Color me surprised.

Morrow needs a press box and badly. Taking a penalty like that in a 1-0 game is unacceptable. His leadership has been **** for a few years now and his inconsistency bugs me. One of these days a coach will grow enough balls to bench him, demote him to the 3rd line where he probably belongs, or separate him from Riberio.

Raycroft better start tomorrow. Idc how bad the slump is, its too early in the season to start putting it all on Kari. He's already on pace for the same amount of starts as last year. Gully made a mistake playing Kari in this game on the road, time to live with that mistake and stick with Raycroft at home.

Also I know this was a page back but I had to comment:

you know I like Gulutzan, but I don't know if he's going to survive this season.
You can't be serious. There is 0, no chance whatsoever Joe fires Gulutzan this season. No matter what he's going to get a full year to work with this team, and barring a MacLean type start to next season, probably 2.

We're still 11-7 for pete's sake. Let's be realistic here.

yeah well that 11-7 record won't stay pretty for long at this rate and with Gaglardi taking over he might feel pressure to gut the team if things don't go well.

Given there's a game in a few minutes maybe it's time to move on but...is there a rational explanation for not playing Larsen against a skating team like Colorado. It makes no sense to have called him up to not play, it's not like he hasn't been around the big club before.
