Not much to really say here.

Awful effort, you name it we did it wrong. Couldn't make a pass, catch a pass, or carry the puck to save our lives.

Marty definitely should have had the one and ideally 1 of the other 3 too, but when you get outplayed this bad it doesn't matter who's in net.

It would be a bastardization of the word star to name three players.
The team never took off tonight.

Gaborik made some good plays tonight.
Biron stole a few goals from them too. Not sure what his equipment malfunction had to do with the second goal, but it doesn't really matter.

That's it, I can't really come up with another.

On to the next game, it's bound to be better.

Saved him a start. Got him a bit more rest. We wouldn't have won that game with a brick wall in net.

It doesn't help the crazies around here to play a game like this in a building that is in people's heads. A sad way to end an excellent win streak.

Well, lots of inexperience on their blue line, and the fact that we lit them up two weeks ago. On top of that, the Icelanders skated circles around them in a bad loss.

You just knew they were going to trap the whole game.

The next four games will give us a real indication about this team. At Florida and Washington, and home to Philly and the Pens, who I can almost guarantee will have Donkey Face in the lineup.

We didn't pass to the points enough at even strength. We had some good cycling shifts down low but than everyone kept trying to force passes through the crease area. All of Montreal's forwards collapse into the slot, you've gotta pass to the point men and just hope for some rebounds.

i dont understand why after that second goal torts didn't call a time out and get them to calm their game down. i rarely every see him call a time out. Is he really trying to punish them by not calling it. to sort of make them just get over it themselves. whats the deal?

Typed out a whole thing in the GDT only for it to be locked

Oh well. To summarize, the refs sucked but they weren't the reason the Rangers lost and thankfully a lot of the ****** calls came after the game was already decided.

Why should he call a timeout there? There's nothing to say after that, it's not as if the Rangers had a horrible shift. Biron let in an awful goal. Better to just let it go and move on than to have everyone stand around the bench for 30 seconds pondering the softy their goalie just let in.
