Scott Glennie?

How available is he?

What would the price tag be (Sabres fan here? Could a defensive prospect like Mark Pysyk or Brayden McNabb be done? Would there need to be an addition?

We're pretty stacked on D now actually. Any centers in the pipeline would be looked at though!

I suspect he's extremely available. I think it would actually be an upset if he's still Stars' property after this season.

We're hardly stacked at D, we just have some good prospects. We could use centers more though.

On target, I'm sure Glennie is "available" but what they would be willing to deal him for is another thing. Who knows? He's having a pretty **** year so far in the AHL...maybe it's time he gets traded before the luster of being a top end picks wears off.

I'd take Pysyk for him in a heartbeat.

It's difficult to even classify Glennie was a prospect at this point. "Prospect" implies potential upside.

What's wrong with him? Everyone seems very down on him.

Questionable work ethic, untimely injuries popping up conveniently the past 2 training camps + Traverse City tournaments, low production in the AHL last year and this year.

When it comes to Glennie, I think he's spot on this time around.

Sure the kid's still pretty young, but he's been nothing but upsetting since the moment his name was called out.

Is it trolling when he's right?

But he's not right, and he almost never is. Glennie most definitely has upside. Whether he reaches it or not is the real question.

We should just all pretend we took Vincour in the first round.

If it wasn't already bad enough that Glennie's the only top-10 pick from that draft who has yet to see an NHL game, it's worse because of this "upside" that we've been waiting on for nearly three years now.

Meanwhile, Glennie's currently in the league directly below the NHL, and he's chugging along with 2 points in 13 games.

Maybe next season we'll see the "real" Scott Glennie, who knows.....

I've always felt that Glennie will make an impact on this franchise, and I still think he will. I just got a crazy feeling once he gets a shot at the big club he'll find success.

I was referring to our prospects, not the big club. We have some good prospects...I'd hardly say we're stacked though.

Always felt that Glennie would be a project and probably take two years in the AHL after graduating from Juniors.
