Why not use Sharp on the PK?

I just noticed Patrick Sharp has a total of 12 seconds of icetime throughout the season on the PK. I'm not saying use him as a top penalty killer because we have those with Branko and Gagne but why not give him a minute or 2 a game? He's not bad defensively IMO and is at least on the same level as Savage who gets 2+ minutes a game.
