I think if there is any chance of them getting rid of BB. They should keep Semin. Semin is not helping things at all. But I think that is just one part of the bigger picture. And he may turn it on just for spite.
I'm more amazed that an apparent scratching of Semin... and he skips. He must have got the memo that he was on thin ice.
Something tells me if they had a Lt Sopel forcing one of their teammates to run Curahee again, there wouldn't be any teammates that volunteered to help that person finish. The idea that you're only as strong as weakest link seems foreign.
Extremely disheartened if Ovi's response to this tough treatment is to coward into a shell for much longer.
While I've wanted BB gone since post-Montreal, the players have so much culpability in this mess its not funny.
Then trade them all. Let's rebuild from scratch, as Vladiator said.
I don't think our players, from top to bottom, are inherently more asinine than those on other teams. I just don't buy it. Players not being angels is a reality in sports.
We are playing LOLbarbera. Chalk this one up as a win for guys; he is terrible.
That's just it, we've played some pretty terrible stuff before and lost. Nothing is a given and I hate the thought of breaking my TV, but some Caps games have been close to that. What really bothered me about Saturday was how we were treated like rag dolls by a pit bull. Toronto had "the monster" in goal and won. That is pretty pathetic. Honestly, I see a lot of running around in the defensive zone again. I hope I am wrong. It is getting to the point with our defensive hockey they should play the Three Stooges theme on the loudspeakers. I really want a Caps win and as always will be cheering and cussing my team.

According to the Caps' @VogsCaps, Alexander Semin will be a healthy scratch tonight against the Coyotes.
There it is....wow. If the Caps put up another tankjob tonight, I'm not sure how McPhee doesn't pull the trigger on something.
George McPhee....The Teflon GM. 15 years of failure and counting....
6 - Number of playoff series the Capitals have won since George McPhee took over as General Manager in 1997 (which makes him the third-longest-tenured GM in the League), three of which came in McPhee's first season on the job.
Its a leadership issue... it doesn't take wholesale changes. But it takes work and foresight to identify the issue and balls to act on it.
Things not associated with Caps management.
Sigh, and here is the fundamental difference in opinion. When you have high character vets like Knuble and Chimera and Brouwer, what else is needed in terms of leadership? Arnott was a leader and couldn't save us from ourselves. At some point you have to look at the one leadership spot that hasn't changed in 4 years.
