The Hockey Gods work in mysterious ways. I hope he is okay. Maybe this gives Sanford a chance to prove himself though. Either way, Mase can't get any better if he can't skate, so hopefully he's back soon.

Rask... untouchable.. Thomas has his age. Schneider... Nucks would want our the first round pick and probably prospect to the defense or value for one of the couple Brassard/Vermette. What is bad that Luongo is injured. Lindback... division team... IMO any trade and if yes, maybe Brassard/Vermette, what would be good.. but... again... we are divisional team. Enroth... maybe one of Brassard/Vermette and 2nd round pick... but I doubt they will trade him now when they have a chance to success... IMO only after the season when his value will be higher Bobrovsky... not now... Philla must trade someone for salary cup Karlsson... it is opportunity but we do not know what Calgary wants... plus it is the team with similar points and chance to PO like Columbus
And we cannot forget that we have troubles and GMs want to use it.
I hope Mason is ok, no one wants a player hurt especially in practice and especially by a shot to the head.. As for the impact on Mason playing tonight Sanford was probably scheduled to play anyway, only a nut would not see how well the CBJ club has responded with him in net.
Injury or not Steve Mason's NHL goal tending role has been in question for weeks... two different subjects, the injury and him starting.
