I thought they signed Parker to some sort of deal that gave them his NHL rights
They signed him to a "property rights contract", which I haven't seen a true definition for.
However, I'm under the impression that it was simply a fancy way of saying amateur try-out.
If that's the case, they have his rights until the start of the NHL season.
Looks like some of the Amerks guys got Riley Boychuk (boychuk91) to sign up for Twitter.
I swear he just said he "wasn't a Twitter kind of guy" in an interview a couple weeks ago during an intermission in Gwinnett.
