In French it's already up & the GOVT promised English traffic will be up in 2012, so yes maybe on 990.

OK they ran it down a bit on CTV News. TSN gets 690 which is a great signal & 990 goes to gay radio in 2012 make sure you set your links or you might get a strange and un pleasant surprise. This will be all done within 6 months.

What's strange or unpleasant about a gay radio station? That sounds like fun for everyone.

Good news on the signal strength for us in the US. I could get them in Saint Albans, but as I drove to work in Burlington, I would lose them. I'm hoping this goes away. I love listening to the morning shows, when I can.

I mean if someone was tuning in to expect scores, this 690 move is great news for drivers in eastern Ontario and our friends south of the border...farther sig.

I could get 990 clearly right now in Ottawa. Hopefully 690 is the same if not better

This signal will travel very very far - Earth's ionosphere can greatly extend the coverage of AM radio stations. - 50000 watts after around 8pm will travel past Toronto and you might be able to receive it in NewFoundland, Northern Quebec and South towards the States. ( not sure if the antenna height is enough to get a good signal past the Adirondacks though).

I listen to WFAN 660AM from New York sometimes when I drive home from work after 8pm.

Last time I was in Ottawa I had 990 all day, but for some reason I could not get it at night. The sad part was the game was on at night time. Hopefully this will not happen again when I see my parents in Ottawa
