If I was single, i would downscale too...

Houses are a pain to look after.

Jeez... a dude isn't allowed to sell his house in this city?

What is this? TMZ?

Here's my speculation:

- Markov marries/moves in with common law wife
- Wife wants place far from/ city core
- Markov buys away from city core
- Markov and wife separate
- Markov and wife sell home
- Newly single Markov wants to be closer to core

My crystal ball tells me he that he asked for a trade and is waiting to be cleared to play.

I always had a feeling Markov would be playing in Washington, I can see him being traded there and I would gladly take several players from Washington for him, starting with Alzner and Colorado's 1st round draft pick in 2012 (which will be a lottery pick).

Did Markov ever apply for Canadian citizenship? Does it matter to us if he lives in Canada or Russia after he retires? All we really care about is how long he can play hockey at the NHL level.

With the way this team makes deals, we'd be lucky to get Hammer back.

I'm sorry for being a party pooper, but those links use twitter as the source for this being Markov's home. There is no public record of his name being linked to this address. I suggest that if HFboards is scared to get sued lock this thread immediately. If a broker released this info then I'm sure they will be getting a call shortly, if not from Markov's lawyer then the OACIQ (which governs real estate brokerage in Quebec).

And frankly, even if all of this were to be true, it's not hockey related and fuels a side of fanaticism that isn't healthy.
