I'll take this with a grain of salt, almost figure it'll swell up on first contact. Hope I'm wrong! But, if he get's re-injured, The Ghost will have to go!

Wait a sec, weren't we supposed to want him to retire or something? How dare he come back and help the team!

I agree, especially coming back from a shoulder injury, he's already missed out on a bit of development missing camp and preseason plus a few games.

I think next year he'll be knocking on the door and I see him getting a few callups like Plaushaj has this year.

If this was even a remote possibility, he wouldn't be skating...

Who did we get for Weber ? And Diaz in Hamilton, and BLUDEN is already there.
Campoli before Spacek and or Emelin.

Gutsy, probably one of the only baby animals on the planet with the potential to kill a human. Good luck!

Everyone Healthy Depth Chart

LEFT D DEPTH CHART
Markov
Gorges
Gill
Campoli
Emelin

RIGHT D DEPTH CHART
Subban
Spacek
Diaz
Weber

I'd guess Campoli will be traded, and one of Weber/Diaz sent down to Hamilton.

So that would leave us with:

Markov-Spacek
Gorges-Subban
Gill-Diaz/Weber
Emelin

Kind of sucks we are so left handed D heavy, and that Emelin is likely the odd man out, though in all liklyhood someone will be banged up and miss time....

It's the only baby animal with the potential to dwarf JM's ears.

the one thing nobody can blame on JM/PG, is rushing young players...

Spacek isn't a right D, Emelin plays both sides. Other than the current pairing with Subban, Gorges has played RD most of his career.

Well it was not terrible all the time but it will be nice to see Markov back there sooner rather then later.

If that's correct, then I'd hope to see

Markov-Gorges
Gill-Subban
Campoli-Emelin

Then deal/drop Spacek

^That's pretty solid.

I'd say Weber is ahead of Diaz, Spacek belongs on the left. Gorges is more than likely going to be the Lefty on the Right once Markov returns.

I can see Diaz and st.Denis back to Hamilton once everybody is healthy.

Markov-Emelin
Subban-Gorges
Campoli/Gill/Spacek/Weber

Ya but personally I would prefer to see Weber in the lineup. I really feel he is Streit 2.0 and we need him to get games so he can develop properly.

I imagine he'll see a lot of time on the 4th line and as a 7th d-man if the Habs decide to go that way for certain games. White's out for the foreseeable future, so a healthy lineup without him would probably look something like this:

Cammalleri-Plekanec-Gionta
Pacioretty-Desharnais-Cole
Eller-Gomez-Kostitsyn
Moen-Nokelainen-Weber

Markov-Gorges
Spacek-Subban
Gill-Campoli

Darche as the 13th forward, Emelin as the 7th defenseman. Maybe swap Gill and Spacek because of the history between Gill and Subban, but I think Spacek is better-suited for that 2nd pairing.

I think the team actually values Diaz more than Emelin (maybe even the players, as Gorges said he was the young d-man who impressed him the most), but given the circumstances surrounding both players it'd be easier to send Diaz to the minors.

Streit didn't even make the NHL until he was 27. Weber is 23, he has plenty of time to develop. Especially since Spacek and Gill will be gone next year.

I prefer to have 3 duos: Plekanec/Cammalleri; Desharnais/Cole; Gomez/Gionta:

Pacioretty - Plekanec - Cammalleri
Kostitsyn - Desharnais - Cole
Eller - Gomez - Gionta

Awesome news. I can't wait to see him back on the point. It'll also be nice when OLN changes their scheduled game to show Markov's return.
