So...i'm preparing myself for another two hours of torture....well thats the way it feels watching the Kings play hockey right now. I would love to feel different but nope I don't. No high expectations from this fan. Will we score more than three? Take stupid penalties early and dig a hole? be unlucky with refs whistle? Disallowed goal or even worse get one against us that should been disallowed?

hmm?? No I don't sense any optimism in my gut or anywhere else.

I think we are loosing again.

Bernier is starting. Quick has been fine, he does need a break though.

Because Richards can just play the entire penalty kill.

Wow, this place has gotten pretty grim.

Anyway, this should be an interesting game. The Blues most likely will want to get back at us for blowing them out during the home opener. As long as the Kings know that this game will be much more difficult and they have to work for the win, they'll have a great chance as getting the two points. The only thing I don't want to see is the Kings not taking the Blues seriously.

It's just TM being TM.

He sits Richie and Lewis because they're not scoring but insert Westy and Hunter. Hunter, I can understand but Westy? C'mon, now.

Two of our fastest players are sitting while two of our slowest play.

Westy is playing because Reaves takes runs all game and beat the **** out of Clifford the last time they squared off.

Don't know if that's the case or not but if it is, then sit Clifford. I don't think we need both Clifford and Westy.

Lewis should never be a healthy scratch. The guy is smart, fast and does his job out there.

Exactly, Westy and his 2 minutes a night are a waste of a full line. Lewis has been our best bottom 6'er this year and Richie hasn't been bad either. TM needs to try scratching Moreau maybe, then we could have a Richardson-Fraser-Lewis 4th line which isn't bad at all.

So this game won't be available on Game Center Live since it's a VS broadcast?

Damnit, guess it will be flipping back and forth or finding a crappy quality stream so I can watch both the sporting events I'm dying to watch, which ofccourse are running parallel to each other, even though one is in St. Louis and the other is in Maui.

Just can't catch a break sometimes!!

Who else is he going to scratch, Moreau or Stoll? LOL, good one!!

Maybe when Moreau reaches 100 games without a goal TM will consider sitting him.

They also put the Michigan game on the replay area right after it's done.

Thanks!

The game preview didn't list ESPN3 so I assumed it wasn't being shown online. Now I am happy!!

Really?

I still think it's way too early in the season for this kind of talk.

You guys HAVE watched an NHL hockey season in it's entirety before, right?

Personally, I think everyone's been playing really hard so, it's tough to sit someone for not producing although the efforts been there.

Having said that, I definitely wouldn't have scratched Lewis. The guy simply does his job out there. I don't know what TM expects out of a 4th line winger/center.

I like that Westy is given ice time once in a while and it should be together with Clifford. Every once in a while we need to show the league that we can play "that kind of game" if we have to. If they catch us in a game w/o Westy, then they will have to deal with him next game. Backfired against Vancouver but still, we need to send that message once in a while.

Look at Buffalo. Their goalie, and more importantly, their lockerroom is in shambles.

It still matters. Yes, even in 2011.

As I've stated before, I find Lewis incredibly frustrating to watch. He puts in a lot of effort and seems to try hard every game yet he can't score. Ever.

Yeah, actually it does matter because TM is sending the wrong message. If TM had said, he just wants to get bigger bodies in there or want Westy to get some minutes, yeah, then it's more acceptable. But unfortunately, every time Lewis is a healthy scratch, he always mentions how Lewis isn't scoring.

And if you truly were a Lewis fan, you'd know that he doesn't like being called a Lewy.
