Value of Keith Aulie to Buffalo

Hi all, Sabres fan coming in peace

Just wondering what y'all think Burkie would be looking for to Move Aulie down the QEW?

Thoughts? Needs?

We would need a Forward back in return and maybe a pick.. We are lacking a kins of toughness with Armstrong out for the rest of this year and looking to come back in Jan sometime... A 3rd liner maybe a pick included..

Aulie the team and GM are really high on but has look lack luster in the AHL this season....

Who the hell knows, often when Burke makes a trade, Leaf nation is totally dead wrong on who the hell we get in return.

And the forward would have to be in the 20-25 age range imo and has had a taste of the NHL and looking to make the jump just like Aulie is

I doubt he gets moved, bad luck with injuries, plus his value isn't really that high for a defensive D man, but I do remember watching the WJC Tyler Myers and Keith Aulie were Twin towers. They dominated together.

Aulie has sucked this year for the marlies.

I'd want Joel Armia.

Agreed, so it's not happening. Kassian has some immaturity issues but Sabres would be foolish to give up on him.

Luke Adam would be nice.

I think the leafs will/should hold on to Aulie. He's not worth trading now, he should stay in the AHL and get better. The Leafs have depth and they have options.

(feels weird to type that - like I'm talking about another team)

I dont think it ever happens. Why Leafs will give divisional rival shutdown D with size that looked pretty good in his first NHL season? He is having off year, so does Schenn, but they will be back...
Anyhow, expect to pay premium for it, like very good PF prospect, preferably center.

Its true, Burke probably checks first who we want, then trades for another good player completely that we forgot about

Leafs are #8 in prospects' talent. And they just destroyed TB with youngest roster in NHL on the ice.

I look back at the Leafs team after Sundin left and it's unbelievable how Burke has re-shaped this team, this fast.

This is a good team now. And a deep team.
