You have to give the guy a chance to respond to see if the benching had an impact don't you?
A.) Why is Vokoun playing tonight? I haven't liked the way he has looked the past few games. He always seems to be out of position. AKA he makes simple shots look a lot harder.

Ward was sick over the weekend, maybe he's not totally healthy yet and BB didn't want to give him another game yet...
I'm really hoping we see OV-Backstrom-Semin together. We need to get OV and Sasha going, and I think this could be a perfect game for that (Semin coming off the benching, finally won last game, we got smoked by Winnipeg last game)

When I first saw Ward was benched I thought it was for his Fehr-like clearing attempt along the right boards. And I thought wow at least BB is consistent.
Then I found out its cause he over slept and was late. I wonder if BB has a Coughlin like approach to meetings. If you're not 5 min early, you're late. Nah... to much a step change from Club DC.
