LGR! Let's start the streak again right now.
Rangers should get boots to ***** shirts.

Since their last win, the Rangers have only played one game and almost fell out of a playoff spot. That's how dead this schedule's been. Should be picking up now though which is good, it feels like it's been forever since I watched a game.

LGR!

Given the games in hand the Rangers have, I like to look at the points percentages rather than the points... in which case, the Rangers are in first in the East.

It's funny how we have games in hand this year. For the last 5+ years, it's always been the other way around -- teams used to have 3, 4, 5 + games in hand on us. I like it better this way

It's awesome. Even better that we're basically even with everybody and have multiple games in hand.

Games in hand are worth nothing unless you win them.

While our point percentage is good so far we're going to have to accrue them more consistently: I don't expect we'll have 6 7 game win streaks this year.

Not necessarily true. A game in hand is worth 1 point if you lose it in overtime

Psssht. This is the argument if other teams have games in hand on you!

Gudbranson may be similar to Beukaboom, but he was drafted to bring offense as well. He hasn't played a full season in ages, a season of dominance in the OHL would have helped him a ton. Not alternating games as the #6 with Keaton Ellerby.

It really shouldn't be it's an 82 game schedule, they have a stinker every now and then...it comes on the heels of a 7 game win streak which indicates they know how to win. Why hammer in your mistakes from that one game immediately after a nice win streak? Now if they lose again THEN yea you go to the tape. It's reeaaally not that odd of a thing

Because whenever we are on some sort of streak of anything good, it doesn't just end; we always go on an awful streak afterwards. After every loss this team incurs, the mentality is always, "Meh, it's only one game," and it's disgusting.

Thats a valid point and the camp was split on this. Time will tell; great kid.

It's really hard to argue, but as uncomfortable as he looks, he still looks better than most D-man that has put on a Rangers uniform in the last decade.

That jumped out at me too. Why wouldnt you want to analyze a game in which the opponent completely threw your forecheck in reverse and there were literally two good scoring chances the whole game?

I mean, it's not like he didnt have the time to do it. His soundbite sounds straight from Drury University's Leadership 101 course.

I think he may have misspoke. As a leader, why wouldnt you want to watch game film?

I have a feeling it wasn't his decision. In the Prust quote, he also said they aren't going to think about that game.

Personally, when they play the way they did Saturday, or just lose a game period, it bugs me for a while, and the last thing I want to do is watch the replay or hear highlights.

But I'm a fan. For these guys, it's their job. I know in my line of work, if you have a poor showing in anything physical or administrative, you have to review and retrain. If it's on tape, you use it as a reference point.

Meh...whatever. If they win tonight, or at least have a solid game, it's kinda moot.

Haha, if you believe this to be game 1 of an 8 game winning streak, that would mean that the Rangers would next lose at Buffalo... and I'd really rather not.
