The only thing that still frustrates me about Jack is how often those simple passes trail off his stick at the blue line. The rest he's improved upon so much.

This game is definitely winnable. Kings even though they were short for 4 minutes seemed to dictate the play.

Kings definitely have the better chances. Stars padding their shot totals by shooting from the blueline and beyond. Just need one to go in and get in Kari's head.

GKG!

Honest question, how many games this season has it been 0-0 going into the second?

I absolutely love that attitude from Mitchell. He has been solid for us, I wouldn't mind in the slightest if we gave him a contract extension.

That and it still takes him forever to get his shot off.

Looked it up, and this is the tenth time in 21 games that neither team has scored in the first period.

It's crazy how few first period goals the Kings have scored so far this season. Sometimes it's not even because they come out slow. Case in point: the home game against the Ducks last week.

I've noticed defending Souray might be the easiest (mentally) thing in the league, but the hardest physically. Every time he gets the puck he shoots it.

I would actually be pissed if he wasn't. More value then Greene or Skuds imo.

Kings look terrible today. I think the game from last night is really hurting them.

What has Moreau done to deserve a regular shift every game?
