I'm really anxious to hear what really happened with Gomez. I mean the media not knowing ANYTHING is odd.

Somebody needs to tell JM to wake the **** up and play let Eller play center permanently. Tonight, YET AGAIN, proved it. This "giving the vets all the chances in the world" thing has got to stop for the bennefit of the team.

Jessica Rusnak needs to ask why Eller doesn't get more ice time.

Don't worry. Martin's press conference coming, and we'll hear something like "Gomez is injured and will be evaluated tomorrow".

Emelin and Diaz were solid tonight.
The consistency is not there yet, but they're progressing, its obvious.

And its really too bad that we basically have to "sacrifice" Eller while showcasing Gomez (im clear enough ?)...

But as long as he's here, since we are not going to bury him in the minors as this stage of the season, or buying out his contract, its the only way to get rid of his bad contract. Im not saying i agree with the idea, but its understandable.

Sounds like its a good thing I missed the first two periods.

Don't understand how Eller can have 1 g, 1 a and still barely play more than Gomez who didn't even play in the third. This kid always get shafted with his ice time and linemates.

Nice to see Price shut out the Canes in the SO.

I had to watch the game on a Carolina broadcast and even that commentator was saying Eller is definitely the Habs' best player tonight. Everyone seems to understand except for Jacques Martin. I also loved Emelin in this game! Diaz has been slowing down as of late, I think a stint in the minors could only be beneficial for him. GO HABS GO

For sure 2 of 3 or possibly all were flukes/deflected. Price has been so solid. Just because his style isn't as dramatic as TT's doesn't mean he isn't as athletic.

I've read too many posts here about Price not stealing games. He has, in fact, stolen a few. He is a positional guru and a steely eyed missile man. He is just not, generally a DRAMATIC goalie. Top 5 now, I believe after his carrer - top 5 all time.

Weird game, but his team let him down way more....

I love that Emelin, whenever he sees an opponent coming in the middle of the ice, he gets ready to hit the guy.

Need to get much better for the weekend.

Emelin was by far the best hab tonight in my opinion
Gionta played a hell of a game as well, he was all over the ice, battling and using his speed effectively.
