That's not their intention at all. They chose to come to NJ, not because they want to swipe our team, but because it is visible and close to the NHL offices in NYC. They are trying to prove to the NHL that they have a solid base of support that is wiling to travel. Also, they can get group tickets from the Rock fairly easily.
They do want a team to relocate to Quebec, but I don't think any of them would tell you that they want it or expect it to be the Devils who move.
And they cant, becuase we have a lease on the Prudential Center

So they are trying to get what 5-6 teams or how ever many cities they visit per year, all to move to Quebec?

not necessarily. they’d take the devils in a minute, but I think they know that isn’t realistic. while I don’t care one way or the other if they come, I do appreciate them coming to a game in November as opposed to our season finale like they did last year at least…show a lil respect this time around
The Quebec fans are just so smart for doing this. I feel like I have an obligation to visit Quebec when they finally get the team they deserve.
You'll be all welcomed since most of you showed great support! Would also be nice going back in Newark this time cheering for our team and, most of all, enjoying a good old hockey game with each and everyone of you!
