Best player tonight was Eller by far. He did everything, showed poise with the puck and once again had multiple scoring chances.

Emelin, Gorges and Diaz were great on D. Emelin played another strong game, good positional play, delivered hits only when it was appropriate(aka not putting himself out of position).

I thought Desharnais struggled(he was good in the faceoff, but that's not enough) as did Pacioretty.

Cole and Gionta had legs tonight and looked great in OT.

Weber and Subban were awful.

Price was meh, nice to see the team bail him out for once, usually it's him that does so.

I watch it for pure entertainment.

Btw, anyone know what did Darche said on/to PK?

To be fair though, an off game by PK is still better than some guys' A game. But I see what you mean.

Subban brought the puck out of the zone...Darche wanted the puck sooner...PK ended up passing it to him at the blue line and Darche chipped it in.

So before Darche even gets to the bench he's cursing at PK for not giving him the puck...waving his arms around. Then he calms down a bit....then again he starts up and looks over at PK and starts saying some more stuff. He was livid.

I don't even get why Darche was angry...PK made the right play.

This is ridiculous and pretty low brow reasoning. Players are all in this together, they should be able to talk to themselves freely without barriers. "OMG I can't talk because i'm a fourth liner!" would create a terrible environment.

Did Eric Staal even play tonight?

Man does he ever go into terrible streaks.

How was Weber awful? He did a nice job of getting his shot through on the goal, played solid defense and moved the puck well.

Bergeron always hates the role players. He kept crapping on Steve Begin when he was in Montreal.

So should you not be able to talk to most of us here because you have 135 posts and everyone else has 1000s?

Don't be ridiculous.

Hockey is a TEAM sport. Plain and simple.

Darche is here to play mistake free hockey, screen the goalie, and be a leader.

Maybe post-deadline, as long as Leblanc isn't playing more than 9 games on the big team. For now I think we'd be rushing Leblanc if we were to call the guy up and send Darche down.

I agree.

Just because it's PK Subban, means that no one can go up to him and tell him how they feel? If it's anyone else that did it.. people would be all glad the player did it.. but because it's Darche on PK everyone is pissed?.. common. Not to mention people really think this is the FIRST time this ever happened? Gimme a break.

I think it's ridiculous to be critizing PK. He's played, what? 100 NHL games and he is the Habs de facto #1 D.

Talk about pressure. It seems to me that PK's great plays far outnumber his poor ones, but all I'm seeing here is criticism and byatching.

Markov being back will help the most, but so will any healthy combination of Campoli, Gill, Spacek....

Next to Price, the most pressure is on him. I feel he is doing much better than should be expected.
