3-3 heading to the 3rd Vs PG. Goals for Victoria , Nelson (1) from Jones, Soudek (3) from Sundher and Magee and Magee (2) from Soudek and Sundher. Hamilton is playing very strong.
I WOULDNT SAY HAMILTON PLAYED VERY STRONG. I WAS AT THE GAME AND I KNOW THE COUGARS OUTSHOT THEM 52-24 OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT. THERE WASNT MANY GREAT CHANCES. IT WAS A FUN GAME TO WATCH THOUGH. TRBAER DUMMIED SOME BROCK HERSHIE 30 SECONDS IN THE GAME, INJURED HIM. THE INGLIS, BOUNASSISI, BOURKE LINE WAS VERY GOOD. I WAS REALLY IMPRESSED WITH NELSON ON THE ROYALS, VERY GOOD PLAYER.
Asked him about that.
He played in Vancouver, but broke his skate halfway through the game and they couldn't get him a replacement in time for the home opener.
He will be in the lineup when the team hits Prince George this coming weekend.
That really sucks. Thanks for the answer
and big win in Prince George! Way less pressure now in remaining two games this weekend. I didn't get to watch, but it looks really good for Hamilton so far. I was very impressed with him in home opener and it looked much the same yesterday. For anyone who did watch what were the calibre of chances? I thought despite the high shot count in the home opener, it was not completely indicative of extremely high quality chances.
If he keeps playing like this Gamble should probably go

That kind of answers my question on Hamilton. Also from what I saw in the home opener I agree about Nelson
Exciting game tonight vs. the Tigers. Royals win 5-4, but it should be noted all 4 Tigers goals were scored by Emerson Etem. That guy is a beast, sick moves and always finds the open areas. Dude was everywhere.
Logan Nelson really stood out for Victoria. This kid's gonna be good for us I think. The team's defensive play could use some work, though.
Big crowd and great atmosphere, it's good to finally have WHL hockey back in the capital.
I went to the Giants games yesterday and the Royals played like they ate turkey into the late hours of Sunday.
I know it was their 3rd games in 4 days but they mustered only 18 shots in total and many were perimeter shots with no one near the net either.
Rintoul was minus 4, Sundher minus 3 and frankly no one on the team came to play against a fairly weak Vancouver team outside of their top line with Gallagher.
This is a team that is not playing up to their potential IMO.
Kralik finally scored a goal, maybe that will get him motivated as he hasn't played up to his billing yet.
huge win last night to take both games against Kelowna. Sundher played well and Soudek potted in 3 this weekend. Crooks and Nelson have been playing great too.. it's super suprising that the Royals won both games against the predicted B.C Division Champs. Good job by Habscheid and all the Royals.

Yeah soudek has been on fire.
I was really dissapointed by Kelowna's effort this weekend. McColgan was invisible on Friday...
My only complaint with the Safe On Foods Memorial Centre is the lack of ATM's. They dont take Interac at the consessions just cash and Visa.... They have two only and they arent the fastest connection either so when you get in the lineup its not fast moving.....

Sadly, my best guess for the outcome of this game is 5-3 Kamloops. I want to be wrong. Maybe Steven Hodges and his 4 goals in 4 road friday games will continue.
down 2-1 to the first place Americans after 1. Soudek went down in the first minute after getting drilled into the boards, but skated at the end of the period for the last shift. Zane Jones scored the only Royals marker from a great pass by Austin Carroll. Very good period by Victoria.
Royals Lose 6-2 to the Royals, Jones and Soudek with the Royals goals, fairly even game, Royals just out-skilled. Ty Rimmer played outstanding for Tri-City.
