If we lose, we may need the opposite of this. Just thought I'd get away from the whole bare bones trend

Hahaha, Bravo sir. Sweet GDT.

I'll be at this game! First Preds game this year I'm able to see live! Hope I'm bringing luck with me!

I've heard rumblings that Josi might be called up soon. Hopefully soon.

Was Josi called up or not? I saw a topic on the prospects talk.

PS: Some Swiss newspapers wrote today, that he wad called up for four games.

Josi is in Nashville and expected to skate with the team at practice this morning at 10:30 AM. When the paper transaction will take place is the only question. It will likely occur at 11 AM (CST) today, but could also be held off till tomorrow at 11 AM (CST) for cap purposes.

Regardless, every indication is that Josi will be in the lineup against Detroit and I'm really looking forward to it!

So if Josi is in the lineup who sits and what are the second and third pairings tomorrow?

I'd like to see Josi/Klein and Blum/Bouillion. More than likely it's Klein/Bouillion and Blum/Josi because having two PMD on one pairing and none on the other pair is effective, especially against Detroit.

Heck, I'd even be ok with Weber/Josi and Suter/Klein as our top two pairings.

If I had to guess, I'd actually say Blum - Klein and Bouillon - Josi or Josi - Klein and Bouillon - Blum.

Josi will need a stay at home D with him...since we don't have one, I think he'll find himself with either Klein or Bouillon to anchor the pairing.

Thing that excites me most about Josi is his ability to carry the puck up ice and create offense on the rush. If he can do it at the NHL level, I think he'll be the greatest puck-moving defenseman since the days of Timonen and Zidlicky.

I think I have told this story before, but a guy I used to work with called him "Babyface". One year during the "Meet The Team Party" he was in the line to see Smithson. When he got to Smithers he asked, "can you sign it 'Babyface'? That's what we call you." Erat was next to him. Martin laughed and said, "Babyface huh?"

I wouldn't be surprised if he is called that in the locker room now

I called him the "Babyfaced Assassin" in an article I write for an AHL weekly nearly a decade ago and the man seriously hasn't aged a day! Talked to him about it a few times and he smiles, laughs, and thanks his parents for good genes...

As i have commented before, he's the youngest looking guy on the team and yet he's the oldest.

Aesop says not to count your chickens before they're hatched.

If the Preds lose, it'll be ALL YOUR FAULT for this presumption.
