Euh, I don't think so. At least not after the 2009-2010 playoffs.

The un-motivator Martin with another "go into defensive shell as soon as we score one goal" masterpiece behind the bench. Also note that Ears was unable to get any production from the Powerplay unit again. His buddy Pearn got fired (than rehired mysteriously LOL), for the lack of production from the special teams, the Habs are currently 24th in the league on the PP.

Time for a shake-up Gauthier. Ears has to go, and you'd better do it before you're on the hot seat as well.

Habs are not a play off team this year with Ears coaching.

Ten other skaters did the same today. Takes a lot to fill Gomez's shoes.

Timmins is amongst the best. But that one is incredibly bad and especially for the reason he gave for not picking Giroux.

He didn't say much. Momentum, momentum, momentum.

RDS had the pre-presser and he was getting impatient and you could see he was saying to himself "**** off". He sighed a lot of times, and when ask about returns, the way he answered Kostitsyn was so agressive, I was laughing my ass off.

Want to watch some exciting hockey? Watch the oilers, they might not win every game but the hockey is exciting and not a boring defensive "dump and pray" strategy.

Reason, too small??? Not to derail the thread, but man Timmins has made some good picks, and some real bad picks...

IIRC, it was his skating. Supposedly Carle really out done him in the pre-draft workout. I may be wrong though.

We are approaching this the time of the season where the habs desperatly wins 4-5 games in a row. We can hope it starts tomorrow. Otherwise we're ****ed.

Getting injured is the best thing gomez has done all season.

love Boone
....

Posted by Mike Boone

What’s to say about that steaming pile of stuff?
Here’s the math formula:
1 Flying Frenchman + 2 Swiss cheeses = an easy W for Philadelphia

And it won’t get better on Saturday night.

Fresh from being embarrassed by the best French-speaking player in the NHL, the Canadiens face the pride of Nova Scotia and a pretty darn good Russian.

Any optimists out there?

Anyone more disappointed than the Scott Gomez-bashers, who looked forward to the vindication of an inspirational road win with number 11 out of the lineup?

The Canadiens played well for 20 minutes, then it got ugly … against a Philadelphia team lacking Chris Pronger, James van Riemsdyk and Jaromir Jagr.

You just knew all those blown power-plays would catch up to them.

HALAKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!

The jury is still out on this. People were talking about how we robbed them last year. But Eller has become another Darche at this point. Not very impressive. This is going to get ugly....soon and FAST!

AK is a huge addition if he can come back. We will finally have a strong third line with him Eller and Moen. Not many talk about his absence, especially in the media...maybe if his name was Andre Giroux.

Speaking of Giroux 21 other teams passed on him too....so stop with the redundant complaints. Most would have probably said he wasn't big enough if we got him.
