Get your fill of the Giroux 'stache now, 'cuz per postgame interview with 28 it's going bye-bye December 1.

Yeah, the last two periods were probably the best this team has played all season in that regard. Lots of backchecking. The coach in me was very, very pleased.

I watched the French feed for the game and they were just talking about Giroux, basically saying "yeah, Crosby's the best in the league, but have we gotten to the point where Giroux can be considered the second best?" They talked about it and agreed a lot of people in hockey probably consider him top three. They raved about him all game, of course. Anyway...

Being 100% honest, considering injury histories, age, and contracts (ie. cap hits), there's not a single player in the game I would trade Claude Giroux for in a 1 for 1 deal.

What happened with Lavi after the first? I was only able to watch after the second.

Very impressed with Emelin's play today. He's a keeper for the Habs. Much like Read, he's another poised 25 year old rookie flying under the radar.

Why is there a coach in you? And why is he very happy?!

Do you mean that he entered the bench while the players remained in the dressing room? Probably a motivating method, maybe he was frustrated, sent a message and left it up to the players.

I agree with you on this ! Roo plays a lot of minutes in all situations and excels in all of them, PK, PP, Back checking etc.He is really coming along as a complete 2 way player, and i cannot think of another player or players in the league he would be worth trading for.

I would find it impossible to turn down Crosby. The guy is a generational talent. I know the concussion is worrisome but still...

Just wanted to congratulate your team on a strong game. Habs looked disorganized and weak, not sure what was wrong on our end, but Philly showed up in full strength (minus JVR and Pronger).

Giroux really is something. Until next time...

Right now in this country having a coach in you is not considered to be a good thing.

Ah... mixing in a bit of a Swedish saying there...

Can I blame it on having had a few beers, or does that make me sound slutty?

To take this a bit furter off topic, can't you say something like "the poet in me" in English though?

Price looked really good for the Habs too...we could have very easily had 5 or 6, maybe more.

sure would have liked to have been a fly on the wall in the Flyers dressing room for first intermission..

sounds like Lavi must have ****en exploded..reporters asked him if that was as mad as he has been all season.

he kinda deflected the question but it was pretty obvious something happened in there..

i wonder if any coke machines got hauled away to the local recycling centre, hahaha...

GO LAVI GO !!!!
