A win here would carry a lot of weight.

I don't care how, just get it done.

hank had a lot of time off before his last 2 starts. he really should be playing today. just because its a back to back doesnt mean hank has to sit one out.

Very, very poor scheduling. Should never happen.
The two days after Thanksgiving is always a nightmare for scheduling because you have College Football, Basketball, the NHL and the NBA fighting for broadcast and arena/stadium rights.

I think if they knew the NBA was going to be locked out, we would have night games across the board. But I have a feeling a lot of these afternoon games were scheduled so the networks could be ready for basketball at night.

Just saw the cancelled NBA Schedule. Knicks were playing at Philly today at 7pm. That probably explains it. Either Philly or the Knicks didnt want to have to play a day game after a night game. Totally understandable.

I get to watch this game, so they will lose, especially since I work with a bunch of Flyers fans.

Did Dubinsky get hurt or something, because he seemed to play only like 10 minutes in the last game?

I think he was demoted to the 4th line with Avery and Prust.

Actually, I like Dubi as a center. Always did. When he centered Jagr and Avery, it was the Rangers best line for the 2nd half of 2008.

LGR...a little worried about this game. NYR typically have problems with teams that drive to the net really well (Dmen prone to dropping down instead of dropping opposing players on goal mouth scrambles).

I really hope the Shelley comments light a fire under Dubinsky's ass.

Nice GDT Loffen.

To SLU, about the scheduling.. I thought it was a rule that they had to have 24 hours in between games? It makes me so mad, because I work the mid-day shift today at work and will most likely miss half this game.

Goodluck to you guys, looking to a hard fought & no more injuries both ways. (But not too much luck)

I am trying number 2 desperately, but living in PA I am bound to be surrounded by them.

I refuse to do number 1 because my cat loves to make it smell like a porta-potty at a Slayer concert.

I am looking forward to this...

Avery/Dubinsky/Prust

VS

Rinaldo/Talbot/Simmonds

These guys should be in the trenches this game. Avery and Simmonds have the history. Dubi and Talbot always battle...and Rinaldo is the new Ryan Hollweg, except he's better and hits harder. He is going to take some runs today at people for sure.

If Pronger is out of the lineup, and mnus Jagr and Van Reimsdyk the Rangers are the better of the two teams. I like the game, but I think this one may get a little chippy.

Hey guys! I got Lundqvist on my fantasy team, any news on if he is playing this afternoon? I got a dilemma cause my other goalies are no slouches either (Howard and Quick) and one needs to be benched cause all 3 potentially play today.. If he's playing hes a lock no matter what team.
Thanks

PS. I'm calling 30+ save shutout for Lundqvist if he plays, loss if Biron plays!

Two games in under 24 hours against Washington and Philly.

That is tough.

Not sure why they did it that way, but if we come away with two wins, that's impressive.

Two very good teams.

i totally agree. torts has learned that lundqvist can handle being the horse... he talks about resting hank, but when push comes to shove, hank will get ridden.
