Torts loves Hagelin already, he won't see the AHL ever again.

Just going to reiterate

He's having another great game, and there's a goal. Welcome to the NHL Carl.

This is not looking like just a cup of coffee for Hagelin. He looks like he belongs.

when Devaux was suspended I was hoping for this. So far so good!

I think Carl is going to stick and not just based on these two games. They guy is just real fast. He must be loving have Hank on the team being a Swede

Can't se either EC, WW, Rupp or MZA having a place on the rooster with Mitchell and Hagelin playing the way they are.

Guess CT Whale are soon gonna have three more forwards to boost their ranks.

Dubinsky-Richards-Gaborik
Wolski-Stepan-Callahan
Hagelin-Anisimov-Prust
Fedotenko-Boyle-Mitchell/Avery/Rupp

Christensen is a goner. Sorry Zuccs.
Wolski will definitely be back in the lineup when healthy again.

However, Wolski and Rupp are a couple of weeks away. A lot can happen in 2 weeks.

Still, it will come down to Mitchell/Avery/Rupp imo. Lots of healthy scratches....

Hagelin's been great but Mitchell has been very good too.

Hagelin's got a lot of speed and looks really good in his own end. Some decent offensive instincts. He's going to be a player.

Mitchell looks solid in the corners and along the boards. He's made a couple nice plays and took the puck to the net in the first.

will be interesting to see what Wolski does out there....he could easily find himself in CT if he doesnt play well right off the bat.

I think Mitchell has probably been as good if not better than Hagelin to be totally honest. He saved 2 goals (or at least 2 great scoring chances) with outstanding defensive positioning tonight. Those 2 players play very well together...frankly id be interested in putting Dubinsky between the 2 of them and making them our 3rd line.

Great game by both again, no question.

Hagelin is a player. Great defensive acumen, world-class speed, motor that doesn't quit. He's already a plus third-liner and could progress to be a solid second-liner as well.

Gotta say that Mitchell has played well and looks like an NHL player. I do see why they call him "Johnny Malkin," though. On both of his big offensive chances on the rush, he had a player open in the slot, but he took it to the net himself - worked out once when he was able to come in on the goalie, but the second time he wound up with a bad-angle shot into the chest of Bob while he was hugging the post. Not much of a chance - need to pass there.

Pretty sure people love having Hank behind them regardless of their place of birth. Trust me, if we acquire some Finns (the rivals of Swedes), they too will love Lundqvist.

I've seen this once or twice on the board. I always knew the expression as "cup of coffee." Is "tea" used as well? Can an English major rule on this?

Usually hear cup of coffee referring to a little experience.

And cup of tea referring to personal preference.
