2 games in and I can see Yzerman made a mistake with Tyrell and Jones. Waiver eligible or not Jones didn't deserve to be here and Tyrell did.

It wasn't a mistake. The idea was to send him down to see if he'd develop a scoring touch and potentially become a sometime top six forward.

The team admitted at the beginning of the year it was because Tyrell could be sent down without waivers. So, yeah, it was a mistake

Great game so far, I just hope they keep playing and don't start relax!

That's why we have BriseBois.
There's also no guarantee that we'd have seen this quality of play from game 1 with Tyrell in the lineup.

Who knew all it takes for this team to show up on a nightly basis is Dana Tyrell's presence.

I can't believe Kurvers would want out of this. He dodges the bullet of not being BriseBois, and he still leaves.

Dana Tyrell: Problem Solver
As Tyrell goes, so goes the team. Didn't you guys know that? BriseBois so stupid.

You have to admit, he has been flying out there and has been a huge asset. Blair Jones was invisible out there. It seems odd that a bottom line grinder can have such an effect, but he's giving that fourth line a jump that we haven't had so far this season.

It's also nice having a goalie who is making the occasional tough save.
Dominating 5 on 5 so far, just quit with the stupid penalties already though. Aside from that, we've been pretty much perfect tonight. I feel kind of lame *****ing when we have a 4-0 lead, but the penalties are killing me.
Pyatt had a beauty though. Goal of the year for this team so far. That was ****ing slick.

Pretty hilarious hearing Peckham struggle to call the penalties against the Bolts. He has to wait for the official call because it's anyone's guess as to what the refs will completely fabricate on the way over to the scorer's table.

Another penalty by Kubina. Can't wait for Ohlund's return. Pavel needs to be benched.

2. Stamkos 14 goals in 22 games
Watch out!

A good summary! While the PK was good tonight I hope they can stop take stupid penalties, thats been a problem all season long.
Other than that great win and Stammer keeps scoring!

Haven't seen this team play like this all season. I seen a lot of forechecking and very little tentative play, all the way to the end. It looked like everybody was reaching for an extra gear, boucher yelling speed definitely provided a psychological advantage tonight.
