The thought of him missing the majority of a season two straight years worries me. Hopefully it is nothing too serious.
If all it took was a light cross-check to cause him to leave the game, I have to wonder why he was allowed to return to the ice in the first place.
Edit: Him being injured is not what worries me, it is the fact he can potentially lose more games, thus hurting his chance to find his niche in the NHL at a young age.
I think it looked like a sprain. Kinda good I guess, only cuz he can watch the game from up top. learn to protect a bit better. Should know about Wilson
I think it's time, past time in fact, that the team had a sit down with Hall. He simply *has* to change his style of play. He's suffered a serious injury tonight and could have been injured numerous times already this season. He can't play like this and expect to have a productive career, he just can't.
This is just confirming the concerns so many people had about his playing style. Not good news at all when we're having these conversations already in Hall's second season.
Take it easy guys. We don't know a single thing about the injury yet except that its apparently left shoulder and he's not playing the rest of the game. How can you infer any other information yet? No offense to the OP but by starting this thread just for when we have more info is begging for "internet doctors"
It sure seemed like it was dislocated the way he slumped his shoulder. I would say that he'll be out at least a few weeks, they should proceed with caution especially since it's so early in the season. This is Paajarvi's opportunity to step up....I just hope that Renney plays Paajavi there instead of somebody like Jones.

So let's neuter him.
Yeah, no thanks. I'd rather he played the way he has and is successful doing it than having the kid completely revamp his game to appease a few worry-warts.
It's a discussion board. If you have problem with the thread and people's posts, nobody's forcing you to read, much less express your opinion.
I did express my opinion. I hope it's just a bruise. I hope it's not serious. But I'm not saying I think because I have no frickin' clue, and neither does anyone else.

BS..... Should we pussify him to prevent injury? This isn't figure skating, this is how Hall has always played and it is what has made him successful. You can't just tell a kid who plays a balls out 100% of the time style to tone it down and take it easy on the ice, that's plain stupid. Hall just has to learn how to pick his spots better, that's all. His style of play is fine.
What a surprise. Hall get's injured. Who could have possibly seen that coming. I'm surprised it took this long. Time to play with brains and not just balls. I hope figures it out before it is too late.
