Every time Terry Murray mentions Trent Hunter's "heavy shot," a bird falls from the sky.

Need to get confidence back in your goaltender. Easy Fix... Play the Terry Murray's Los Angeles Kings.

This is what happens when the team decides to do nothing in the first and give up a goal. The Kings need a reality check. I haven't been this mad over a loss in a long time.

I'm done watching the bottom six do absolutely nothing. Clifford was the only bright spot and after Stolls goal, who knew where he went.

The Kings are 6 - 6 at home. What the ****.

Are the Kings still one point out of first? Everything is good right?

Since the GDT is going to be locked I'll throw these in here, too:

1 goal against a team that averages giving up 3 goals a game and a goalie who came in with an .899 sv%...all on the second night of a back-to-back.

Kings now have 11 wins and 12 losses on the season.

Honestly I seriously don't think a coaching change will even help. This team is not making the playoffs. Moreau and Hunter says it all.

c'mon guys were only 5 points out first, who cares we score 1 goal or get shutout every other game.

seriously though absolutely disgusting that Moreaun was playing today. Only a matter of time before our PP came down back to earth, by mid season we should be near the bottom again.

Oh and Hunter F U!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sure the Kings were only able to muster one goal tonight, but look at the big picture guys. How many shots were directed on net? That's the only statistic that truly matters.

Dean Lombardi and Terry Murray hockey at it's finest.

Six seasons under the leadership of Dean Lombardi and this is where we stand. Can't even score goals.

When are you guys going to open your eyes and realize Murray and Lombardi hockey is a relic of a long gone era of NHL hockey. The days of clogging the neutral zone and grinding out 2-1 wins is over.

If you can't score goals in today's NHL you are not going to win, period.

I will watch and root for them every game, but part of me really thinks missing the playoffs might be the best thing for this franchise long term. We need to get people that have a clue about the current NHL in positions of power within this franchise. And sadly another first round exit will probably just keep the status quo.

Its depressing that the main bright spot of the game, is that Clifford recorded his 2nd game where he wasn't god awful for the year. Good job Kyle

can you imagine how many points DD, JJ and Voynov would score if they played on high powered offences.

Can we hire Boudreau for a year and ask him to play the run n gun Caps offence from a couple of season ago. I want to see some goals dammit

the ****** thing is that with our talent we will win enough games so that TM job is never in real jeopardy. Even if we lose in the 1st round again i can see AEG giving TM and DL extensions.

Doughty actually had a good game. Williams is still hiding and Brown is just, well Brown. He wasn't doing much.

Ethan Moreau and Trent Hunter aside, is anyone else extremely disappointed by Dustin Brown's play? His questionable decision making with the puck tends to kill many offensive opportunities for the Kings. As the captain of the team, I would think he is someone who needs to set an example, and if he's going to lead by example, then I guess I he's leading the Kings nowhere.

This is the perfect team, he has had five seasons, this is clearly his vision of the team he wants. He thinks the way to win is grind out 2-1 wins. The forced to do something should be a total overhaul of the vision of how this franchise should be built and what style they will play.

And it's going to take a lot more than a coaching change, plus with as great as his first two hires have been do we really want to give him a third shot?
