I assume Regehr is healthy now.

Interesting that McNabb is still up (right?), when Brennan was called up first.

If I got anything wrong, excuse me because I was completely out of contact for over a week.

Regehr, Kaleta, and Stafford per Harrington, but Ennis is close.

I would have kept Sczczczczhura up I thought he looked better than Kassian vs. the Caps.

Plus my dream of acquiring Petr Sykora to get the legendary "Szczechura from Sykora and Sekera" goal call is now dead

Damnit. Tropp has been so refreshing. The guy plays with such effort.

Delete. Lost track of how many defensemen are injured.

I would much rather see Pauly Caps in the lineup than Ellis, after the Washington game.

I like the way he plays, and he's been a solid 4th liner so far, but he needs to continue his development. He can be more than what he is right now, so he should go back to Rochester, play 18 mins/game, work on his two-way game, and he will be better for it in his next recall. It sounds as if they had to send down two of three Rochester forwards, and since Kassian seems better prepared for top-9 minutes, they chose to keep him up. I have no problem with it.

I'd imagine Szczechura was an emergency recall and had to be reassigned once Stafford became available. Also, sending down Ellis will expose him to waivers. That may become a necessary evil at some point, but there's no reason to risk losing a depth player right now while we have so many injuries.

Slightly OT, but it really bugs me when people credit Jeremy White or his peers for information released by others. Journalism in this town has been reduced to re-tweets.

I think the physical aspect is a big reason McNabb is staying ahead of Brennan--that and maybe Ruff wants a closer look at him. The defense will now have two guys who will play the body (Regehr, McNabb).

Kassian may also be a case of "I want a closer look" as well.

Of course there is the whole "we've gotten beat up by nearly everyone lately" aspect of things too.

I'd laugh if McNabb and Weber ended up higher on the depth chart than Gragnani as the season goes on.

You are probably right in the long run. I just liked seeing a guy out there playing like it was his last game. I wish we saw that more often from some other guys.

I'd be ecstatic if Mcnabb develops that much by season's end.

Should've sent Gragnani down then...

The first tweet I got via Sabres.com did not have Regehr/Kaleta/Ennis in it. I had copy/pasted a few seconds afterwards but as you can see there were posts beforehand.

I do not follow Harrington, nor do I follow a lot of opinionated writers who think they are gods gift to journalism - not that I believe Harrington may, but many do.

As for your comment, maybe you should find more important things to get "bugged" about, life is too short for idiotic things such as this.

Back ON TOPIC - excited that Regehr isn't a long term injury.

Me too. I liked what we saw out of him against Washington, so who knows.

Line combos appear to be:
Vanek-Hecht-Pominville
Gerbe-Roy-Kassian
Leino-Adam-Stafford (with Ennis taking turns)
Ellis-Gaustad-Kaleta

Defense pairs aren't as set but seem to be: Regehr-McNabb, Ehrhoff-Gragnani and Leopold-Sekera.
Kassian playing with Gerbe and Roy instead of Stafford is more interesting to me than Kassian staying and Tropp heading to Rochester.
