Give Giroux the C!

But seriously this sucks. Not just for the play on the ice but also 24/7. I guess this will be in the first episode.

I had a feeling that virus was a crock of **** but wow, 4 weeks. At least it will give others a chance to be heard on 24/7.

Oh, that's easy, he turns it over to the other team.

I wouldn't trust #weakwrists to handle anything; not the point, not the puck, and certainly not pressure.

Chris Pronger will be remembered as the Peter Forsberg of the blue line in a few years...

I think it fair to say Pronger's career may be over a lot sooner then later. Too many problems with his back and knees.

He certainly doesn't seem to be structurally sound.

I'm happy to see Schenn being recalled hope he stays healthy and starts putting the puck in the net.I think Shelley should have been waived before noodle but both are useless but shelley makes more...

Well, that sucks.

We need to raise Coburn's anger level the next couple of weeks, then. Someone should show him a picture of Downie before each game.

Hopefully Bourdon continues his steady play, and Gustafsson comes back from his injury soon (is there a time table for that one, btw?) and finds his form instantly.

We don't have much to work with cap wise to find a replacement for Pronger somewhere else, I believe, so we need our young guys to step up.

annnnddddddd

we're screwed.

we almost have to make a move for a defenseman to avoid plummeting in the standings now. this team has already shown that they're less than effective without a full roster.

Can't say that this is all that surprising. He hasn't been healthy since the Spring of 2010. I'm glad we've decided to built a team around a 35+-year old Pronger with no contingency. Always a great idea.
