Another Jersey Question...

Little different this time...

Was cleaning out my closet, found this "pretty" lil' thing near the bottom. Dad had me growing a small collection of jerseys as a kid, this was one I obviously didn't enjoy much... (Sorry Dad!) Anyways, was wondering if the fine folks of the Sens HF Boards had any suggestions on what I oughta do with this piece of... hockey memorabilia...

The next time you see him, storm up and in a rage chuck the jersey at his face. Tell him you've called child services to retroactively arrest him, then disown him and storm out, sobbing.

save it for when you have a kid of your own. he will need something to wear when painting in kindergarten.

Well if your still collecting hockey memorabilia then keep it. If you don't want it just sell it on kijiji to a Leafs fan then buy a ticket at the ACC with it when Ottawa comes to town.

Haha well I'm in Ottawa so getting tickets isnt a problem for me And most of the jerseys were kids sized so I'd give them to Family friends or kids that I worked with, as I grew out of them (Habs-I want to say Perrault? can't recall, Panthers-Greame, lil' blank bruins one, Kings-Gretzky, are the ones off the top of my head), this is one of the few adult sized ones.

I hate to see a jersey ruined, particularly an old one, even if it's a Leafs one. Do something creative instead of simply burning it. If you know a really good seamstress, you could change 'Leafs' to 'Laffs'. That wouldn't be ruining it, it'd be an improvement I think. Personally, I'd make an effigy. Put it over the back of an old chair, make a papier-maché head and paint a permanent frown on it. Give it a name, bring it out for Leafs vs Sens games and trash him relentlessly!

My thoughts exactly, may not like the jersey, but it's a bit sentimental and could be put to good use. That's a good ide1a I'll have to keep an eye out for someone who could do that for me/give it a shot myself.

I went on a road trip this year, Saw sens in Detroit, then Sens in Toronto the next night wrapping up at Sens home opener.

I got my son a purple octopus in Detroit. Nothing in Toronto and Sens finger and puck head hat. I really wanted to get him that foam hat you have and a Sens sword. I miss those.

There are several things you could do with that :

- dish rag
- sweat towel
- litter box liner
- dartboard cover
- toilet paper
- diaper

to name a few. The possibilities are endless!

The next time Toronto is playing Ottawa in Ottawa & the Leafs are losing by a lot & it seems obvious that Ottawa is going to win the game go throw the jersey onto the ice like you have given up on them. That will kill any hope for a come back & depress their fans & will get the loudest cheer from Sens fans.
