nice!

it sucks to loose Maxpac on this call. but i an happy for Louis. it will give him a taste of the big league, then they can send him back after the trip. he will continue to work hard to come back again.

Will be interesting to see how he does. He seems to get a lot of shots in Hamilton which suggests at least he's not having issues getting the puck and finding shooting lanes.

Even if they didn't have that much choices, it's still a surprise. They usualy prefer guys that won't give much attention to their proceedings.

I can't see Martin playing him much in the next 3 games. He's really going to shelter him, and play him on the occasional third line shift IMO.

Gui was kept because it was either junior or NHL. This isn't even remotely close to his situation . Leblanc has been the best player down in hamilton... and Patches is out, so why wouldn't they call him up. If he stays with the team this season its only because he's earned it.

I'm not expecting much either, but I always enjoy when one of our young guys gets a shot.

I guess he's playing wing for the tenure of the trip before being sent back down.

Moen - Plekanec - Cole
Kostitsyn - Eller - Cammalleri
Leblanc - Desharnais - Gionta
Darche - Nokelainen - Palushaj

Could work. When Pacio's back keep the same lineup (Pacio instead of Leblanc).

I like DD's chemistry with Cole. I actually wouldn't mind Pacioretty being moved from that line when he returns.

My dream line-up with these guys would be;

Cammalleri - Plekanec - Palushah/Moen
Cole - Desharnais - Gionta
Leblanc - Eller - Kostitsyn
Moen/Palushaj - Nokelainen - Darche

I am not saying this will ruin him like others suggest, it's just one call up and it's on the road, not in Montreal which is key for so not too much limelight.

I just wish though we could key our youth in the minors when needed and let them at least get a year under their belt. I know it's injuries and such, just seems more often we go to the farm more than other teams.

Just I know how the Montreal media will want him to stay and such and start shinning when he gets sent back.

pulling a guy out of ahl , with only 14 pro games and a top drafted local kid....i don't think is wise

Will the Dogs have enough players to ice a team soon? Didn't they have like 13 -14 skaters for a game last week..

I'm a little bit confused as to why people are so excited. When reading about his season in Hamilton so far, it seemed he was a huge letdown for the majority of the games played. He must have picked it up during the last few.

I hope he shows us some of what he was showing in the World Juniors. Good luck Leblanc.

Jordan Eberle was drafted in a similar position and only played 20 AHL games.. he's doing just fine in the NHL so far.. 67 points in 93 games so far..
